Anonymous asked: Which do you prefer? Posterous or Tumblr?

In all honesty, I’m undecided. Both have it’s pros and cons. Tumblr has an incredible user interface. I enjoy Tumblr more at the moment.

Search for meaning. This is quite simple but interesting. I should maybe try this on my kids :)

4. “Braai” – Shortened from the Afrikaans word braaivleis, which means “roasted meat”, a braai is what we’d call having a barbecue, except it’s bigger, more social, involves more drinking and lots more meat. You haven’t been to South Africa if you haven’t enjoyed a braai.
It’s a pretty accurate description. The thing is, you CANNOT go to a restaurant to experience the essence of a braai. That would probably be the first mistake the visitors make. The next mistake would be that they’re too excited about the food. Trust us, it’s almost never about the food. Oh, and don’t think you’ll get food on time. That NEVER, EVER happens. The meat are often over or under cooked depending on how drunk the braaier is. (braaier is the guy doing the braai work FYI). Expect LOTS of drinking. I cannot emphasize that enough.
